Michael W. Welch, SR/WA, R/W-AC, MRICS

Mr. Welch has been involved in the real estate appraisal and consulting field since 1988, entering the profession as a staff appraiser with the firm of Shipp, Rutherford & Smitherman based in Houston, Texas. In 1990, he joined Dominy, Ford & McPherson, Inc. as a Senior Analyst. While with the firm, he has developed appraisal and consulting experience involving a wide range of property types including commercial, office, multi-family, industrial, residential and special-purpose properties. He has developed a particular expertise in appraisal and consulting assignments for properties involved in litigation.
In 1997, Mr. Welch was named to develop and head the Litigation Department of Integra Dominy, Ford & McPherson. While serving in this capacity, he has completed and/or assisted with litigation support services for properties involved in various County courts of law, State and Federal District courts.
Mr. Welch has been involved in appraisal matters in thirteen states and in more than 40 counties within Texas. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with the State of Texas. He is also actively involved with the International Right of Way Association, where he served as the Inaugural Chairman of the Young Leadership Council. |
