DENVER, CO — (October 24, 2019) —Integra Realty Resources (IRR), one of North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation and consulting firms, is proud to announce its recognition by the Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. as the 2019 Equal Justice Pro Bono Professional Partner Award recipient. The prestigious honor is awarded each year to those who have displayed extraordinary commitment to the community through voluntary pro bono service, in furtherance of equal justice.
“Our firm was founded on providing sound advice, but we believe good advice should not be limited to only those who have the means to afford it,” said James V. Andrews, Senior Managing Director of Integra Realty Resources (IRR) - Miami | Caribbean office. “To be given the opportunity to serve our local communities that have been so good to us is a privilege. We are honored to be this year’s award recipient and look forward to continuing our pro bono work throughout South Florida to make a positive impact for those who need it most.”
“Our work with Legal Services involved a mobile home park housing study in the Florida Keys to assist residents in negotiations with private landlords who were threatening substantial rent increases due to housing shortages in the Florida Keys. Housing affordability and housing market studies is an area in which Integra excels, and our understanding of the market coupled with our willingness to assist resulted in positive economic outcomes for all involved”, noted the study author, Charles Badell, MAI, Managing Director of IRR Miami | Caribbean’s litigation division.
Anthony M. Graziano, Chairman and CEO of Integra Realty Resources added, “Being recognized for this award was a nice gesture on the part of Greater Miami Legal Services, one we greatly appreciate. However, it’s in our company culture to help others and contribute positively in every one of the nearly 60 communities in which Integra operates. For Integra, true civic leadership is not about accolades, it’s about what you do when no one is looking,” said Graziano.
