Integra Realty Resources April news: Commercial real estate performance up, and energy landowners learn their rights
May 15, 2013
In April, Integra Realty Resources lent its expertise to the media on topics including oil and gas properties, regional commercial real estate snapshots, and retail construction bursts.
Here are the highlights:
1. Real Estate Bisnow: In an interview with Real Estate Bisnow’s national edition, I revealed the results of our Q1 2013 Viewpoint report and broke down regional office trends. While the commercial real estate market is performing as expected and slowly improving, I’ll be keeping my eye on how rising interest rates impact the market and cap rates. The editors at Real Estate Bisnow also checked in with IRR senior managing directors around the country for their analysis on first quarter stats and trends.
2. Oil & Gas Monitor: Houston’s senior managing director David Dominy authored a guide to the top issues facing landowners with oil and gas deposits. Factors that land owners must keep in mind include pipeline easements, increased traffic, lease terms, split estate rights, and ever-changing environmental regulations.
3. WDDE 91.1 Delaware’s NPR: Eileen Smith Dallabrida at WDDE 91.1 NPR included commentary from Douglas Nickel, senior managing director of IRR’s Wilmington office, on the rapid expansion of Christiana, Del.’s retail market and the retailers that are flocking to the area to take advantage of the Christiana Mall’s success.
4. Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal: Matthew Krauser, senior director of IRR’s northern New Jersey office, penned an article on two “comparable” office properties and the importance of location and demographics in the value of an office building.
