J. Carl Schultz, Jr. MAI, SRA, CRE, SGA, Brings Nearly 60 Years of CRE Experience and Rejoins as Managing Director;
Stephanie Tarrer Brings 30 Years and Rejoins as Senior Analyst
ATLANTA — (September 28, 2020) —Integra Realty Resources (IRR), one of North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation and consulting firms, is pleased to welcome back two seasoned commercial real estate professionals to its IRR-Atlanta office: J. Carl Schultz, Jr. MAI, SRA, CRE, SGA, who brings nearly 60 years of industry experience and rejoins as Managing Director; along with Stephanie Tarrer, who brings 30 years of industry experience and rejoins as Senior Analyst.

Schultz joins from Newmark Knight Frank. Newmark had acquired the former IRR-Atlanta office in 2017 when Schultz served as Senior Managing Director, a role he held for more than 12 years. Previously, Schultz was a partner in Schultz, Carr, Bissette & Associates and Vice President of Landauer, a national appraisal and consulting firm.
Schultz brings experience across a wide range of property types including, but not limited to, shopping centers, office buildings, churches, industrial facilities, marinas, golf resorts, coastal islands, wetlands, marsh lands (easements), rail corridors, air rights, utility easements, agricultural properties, and residential subdivisions. Clients include banks and financial institutions, law firms, governments, insurance companies, and investors. Beyond his expertise across Georgia’s commercial real estate market, Schultz has worked with several international appraisal associations and government agencies in developing appraisal standards, education, and regulations. These assignments have included Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Armenia & Thailand. Schultz is a member of The Real Estate Counseling Group of America.
Tarrer also joins from Newmark Frank Knight. Tarrer is actively engaged in real estate valuation, market analyses and consulting assignments including, but not limited to, shopping centers, office buildings, churches, multifamily, industrial and manufacturing facilities, marinas, golf courses and resort properties, wetlands, marsh lands (easements), rail corridors, air rights, utility easements, conservation easements, litigation support, and residential subdivisions. Clients include banks and financial institutions, law firms, governments, insurance companies, and investors.
It is worth noting that Schultz and Tarrer share a long history. The duo has worked together for nearly 30 years, beginning in 1993 at Schultz, Carr, Bissette & Associates.
