IRR recently opened its first office in Charleston, S.C. This new office, the latest milestone in our aggressive growth and expansion over the past two years, will provide valuation and consulting services for office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and other types of commercial properties.

Integra Realty Resources Opens Charleston, S.C. Office
CHARLESTON, S.C.—November 5, 2012—Integra Realty Resources (IRR), North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation and consulting firm, announced today that it has opened their 65th new office, located at 11-C Isabella Street in Charleston, S.C., to bring its services to the region.
IRR specializes in valuation of office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and other types of commercial properties. Services offered include valuation for lending purposes, litigation support, market/feasibility studies, insurance appraisals, and eminent domain consulting, among other services.
“This new Charleston office is the latest in our aggressive growth and expansion over the past two years,” says Raymond Cirz, MAI, CRE, FRICS, Chairman of Integra Realty Resources. “Charleston joins three other new Integra offices established during 2012: Birmingham, Ala., the Cayman Islands, and Greensboro, N.C.”
The office is headed by Cleveland “Bud” Wright, Jr., MAI. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute and the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, and has his license as a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Realtor in South Carolina. He earned his bachelor’s degree in managerial economics from Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, VA.
Also joining the IRR – Charleston will be Scott B. Johnstone, MAI, who is also a member of the South Carolina chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council. He earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.
The IRR – Charleston team will also include Stephen M. Hughes, who is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in South Carolina and an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. He has appraised a wide variety of property types, including warehouses, vacant lands, hotels, car washes, churches, shopping centers, and self-storage facilities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“The new Charleston office will have the ability to provide appraisal, expert testimony, and other property consulting services to a wide variety of commercial properties,” said Mr. Wright. “As our employees are local to the Charleston area, we have an insider’s view on cap rates, the factors impacting property values, and the trends in the region, which will help us better serve IRR’s clients with portfolio properties in the area.”
