Integra Realty Resources Expands Leadership Team to Accelerate Growth in Hotel & Hospitality Valuation Services
Enhanced Leadership Team is Now Led by Seasoned Industry Professionals

DENVER, CO — (February 13, 2024) — Integra Realty Resources (IRR), one of North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation and consulting firms, has today announced significant leadership enhancements within its Hotel & Hospitality Specialty Practice Group.
James V. Andrews, MAI, CRE, FRICS, ASA/BV, with more than 30 years of industry experience, will step into the role of National Practice Leader, having been a pivotal member of the team since 2017. Joining him in leading the group are D. Michael Daniel Jr., MAI and Michael P. Hunter, MAI, both seasoned experts in hotel and hospitality valuation and consulting. This strategic move aims to further strengthen IRR's hospitality valuation and consulting group and aligns with the company's commitment to providing top-tier lending, market/feasibility studies, insurance appraisals, and litigation support services to its clients.

In addition to his new role as National Practice Leader of IRR's Hotel and Hospitality Group, Andrews, who brings more than 30 years’ experience in commercial real estate and business valuation, serves as Senior Managing Director of IRR’s Miami | Caribbean office. Previously based in the Cayman Islands, he co-founded the company that became the Caribbean practice of IRR in 2012, expanding to the Cayman Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Based in Miami since 2019, James runs the South Florida and Caribbean offices with a specialization in hospitality, going concern assets and business valuation. He holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, is an ASA in business valuation, an RICS member and fellow, and possesses the CRE credential. Andrews has contributed to the Appraisal Institute's International Relations Committee, the RICS Americas Valuation Council, and the International Virtual Chapter for the ASA, and formerly sat on the Board of Directors of IRR.

In addition to his newly appointed role as National Co-Practice Leader of IRR’s Hotel and Hospitality Practice Group, Daniel serves as Managing Director of IRR’s Orlando office. Over the past two decades, Daniel has been delivering diverse appraisal services, specializing in complex assignments across a broad spectrum of property types, including investment-grade hotels and resorts, as well as office properties in Florida and nationwide. His expertise extends to a variety of real estate sectors, from professional and medical offices to marinas, multifamily units, and large-scale retail centers. Daniel is renowned for his skill in growth modeling and income component analysis, contributing significantly to the training of IRR's emerging professionals. Holding a State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license and an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, his depth of experience and knowledge makes him a vital asset to IRR's leadership team.
Hunter, in his dual role as National Practice Leader of IRR’s Hotel and Hospitality Practice Group and Director of the Columbus, Ohio office, brings extensive experience and expertise to Integra Realty Resources. Hunter joined Integra in 2011 and specializes in hotel valuation, managing all hospitality assignments for the Ohio region. Hunter has completed more than 1,000 appraisal and market study assignments, including more than 250 hotel-related projects in the past five years, catering to a diverse range of institutional clients. His proficiency extends to providing expert witness testimony in more than 100 tax appeal cases. Before his tenure at IRR, Hunter gained valuable experience in financial reporting for the Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS) and JPMorgan Chase. His comprehensive financial background and robust analytical skills make him an integral member of IRR’s leadership team.
